How It’s Done: The Houndstooth Blazer

Who better to show off a classic, collegiate-inspired blazer (elbow patches and all) than an actual college student? Meet Julia, a junior psychology major who also recently appeared in our 2017 NYFW presentation. Here, she channels some major tomgirl vibes in our houndstooth Rhodes blazer…

“For me, dressing for school is about maximizing comfort and minimizing effort—while still looking stylish. This blazer adds the perfect finishing touch.”

“I intended to be a French major when I got to college, but after taking one intro psych class I was hooked.”

“The layering in this outfit is great because it can easily go from class to lunch to studying afterward. And I basically live in
sneakers—especially SeaVees®.”

Julia takes a study break at Clover Food Lab. She wears the SeaVees for J.Crew Legend sneakers. On the table: our Ryan sunglasses.

“My favorite thing to eat at Clover is the tomato and cheese sandwich—it’s on the kids’ menu, but it’s so good! Oh, and the sunglasses are to help hide the fact that I was up late studying!”

“I adore this pop of color under the collar! I tend to stick to neutrals and basics, but I love unexpected features like this.”
Special thanks to Clover Food Lab.
